I made Letters From The Second Grade from letters I received from the second graders at Deming Elementary School in Cheyenne, WY. I read to Mrs. Korthals class for the two years I lived in Cheyenne and the second year I got a lot of letters and put them into this little quilt. It hung in the classroom for the last two weeks of the school year in 2005 and was in the Cheyenne Heritage Quilters Quilt show in 2006. |

| Patchwork purse using leftover strips sewn together in strips, cut into strips of varying lengths and sewn back together. The cut out at the top was made from a template. It is bound and the strap was hand knit and sewn on. |
